A new 18,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Fern Creek Library, located on Fern Creek Road next to Fern Creek High School, will feature an abundance of natural light, comfortable, quiet spaces for reading and studying, meeting rooms, and dedicated areas for children and teens. Preliminary designs are currently being developed by the design team, which includes Studio Kremer of Louisville, Studio Shea of New York, and LFPL staff.
A public meeting to solicit community input will be scheduled in the coming weeks.
