Made To Be Played: Traditional Art of Kentucky Luthiers
March 12 – April 13 in the Main Library’s Bernheim Gallery
Kentucky Folklife exhibit featuring the art and tradition of Kentuckians who are considered masters in making and restoring guitars, fiddles, banjos, mandolins, dulcimers and other stringed instruments. Dedicated to Kentucky musician and luthier, Homer Ledford, the exhibit illustrates the craft and pays homage to the creative heart of the luthier.
